No. 17 ranked ³ÉÈË´óƬBeach Volleyball advances to NCAA after winning 2025 ASUN Championship

The Beach Volleyball team standing in front of volleyball net holding ASUN signThe No. 17-nationally ranked ³ÉÈË´óÆ¬ Beach Volleyball, which were the No. 2 seed in the ASUN, clinched the 2025 Atlantic Sun Championships title with a 3-0 sweep over No. 1 seed Stetson in Huntsville, Alabama, on Saturday. With the win, North Florida secured automatic qualification to earn its second-straight and second-ever berth to the 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship. 

This is the second consecutive season that North Florida swept Stetson in the ASUN Championship Final. It marked the sixth ASUN Championship title in program history.  

The tandem of senior Mariana Feliciano Sanchez and junior Madison Espy were named 2025 ASUN Pair of the Tournament. Redshirt sophomore Sophia Notaro and senior Andrea Da Silva joined Feliciano and Espy on the 2025 ASUN All-Tournament Team.  

The Ospreys have tallied a program-record 26 wins this season that included an undefeated 14-0 home mark at The Cooper Beach Volleyball Complex.  

North Florida will be the No. 12 seed, a program-record seed, and will battle No. 5 seed University of Southern California in the 2025 NCAA Beach Volleyball Championship First Round at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 2, in Gulf Shores, Alabama; the game will be available on ESPN2. The Championship will run from Friday, May 2, through Sunday, May 4.
